The tool reads selected files in your browser and uses the Canvas API to resize and compress them. ZIP creation also happens locally. No image-processing upload endpoint or image storage is used by this page. Your browser still loads the website and separately configured third-party services such as analytics or advertising.
What to know before you compress your files.
Yes. Select multiple JPG, PNG or WebP images, choose your settings and select Compress all images. The browser processes files one at a time to help limit memory use.
No. Selected image data is processed locally in your browser and is not sent to an image-processing endpoint by this tool. Avoid using a shared or untrusted device for sensitive images.
WebP can provide smaller files with good visual quality in many cases. JPEG works well for photographs. PNG is lossless and supports transparency, but its output may be larger and the quality slider does not control PNG compression.
No. The tool attempts to meet the target with supported lossy formats. Some images, dimensions, browser encoder limits or lossless PNG output may prevent the target from being reached. Check the result status before submitting the file elsewhere.
Only when Resize large images is enabled and the image is larger than the maximum width or height you entered. The aspect ratio is preserved and images are not enlarged.
PNG is a lossless format and browser canvas encoders do not offer a universal PNG quality control. For photographs, choosing WebP or JPEG may reduce file size much more, but JPEG does not preserve transparency.
Use Infovistar's free image compressor to reduce file sizes without sending your pictures to an image-processing server. Add multiple JPG, PNG or WebP files, change quality and output format, optionally resize large images, and review the savings before downloading. The tool runs in your browser, making it useful for website images, email attachments, online forms and everyday photo optimization.
Compression results depend on the original image, file type, image dimensions, browser encoder and selected quality. Keep an original copy when image fidelity matters, and always check any file-size or dimension requirements from the website where you plan to submit the image.
