Truecaller has introduced an exciting upgrade to its AI feature. Users can now create a personalized digital voice using AI and add it to their AI assistant. This new feature is made possible through Truecaller’s partnership with Microsoft.
New AI Feature for Personalized Digital Voice
Truecaller has added a fantastic AI feature for its users, allowing them to create their digital voice. This upgrade allows Truecaller users to convert their voice into a digital replica using AI technology. This feature, initially rolled out in select countries, will soon be available in many more regions.

Microsoft Partnership for Enhanced Voice Conversion
Truecaller has partnered with Microsoft to make this feature possible. With Microsoft’s personal voice assistant, users can digitally convert their voices. Truecaller launched its AI assistant in September 2022 and has since added many features, including call screening and call responding. Thanks to Microsoft’s Azure AI speech function, the AI assistant can answer calls using the user’s voice.
Upgraded AI Voice Assistant
Previously, Truecaller’s AI voice assistant offered only limited voices. Now, in collaboration with Microsoft, Truecaller has upgraded this feature. Users can now make their voice the voice assistant in the Truecaller app. When someone calls, they will hear the user’s voice as a response, working similarly to voicemail.
Available for Premium Users
Currently, this feature is available only for premium users. It has been rolled out in the USA, Canada, Australia, South Africa, India, Sweden, and Chile. More countries will receive this feature soon.
How to Create Your Digital AI Voice
To create your digital voice, follow these steps:
- Premium Subscription: Ensure you have a Truecaller premium subscription. If not, you can purchase it.
- Update the App: Update the Truecaller app on your phone.
- Open the App: Open the app and go to settings.
- Assistant Settings: Navigate to the Assistant settings.
- Set Personal Voice: Find the option to set your voice.
- Follow Instructions: Follow the on-screen instructions to record your voice.
- Upload Your Voice: After recording, upload your voice.
